Peachtree Classic Cars Before You Buy Information

1. We are a licensed dealer in the state of Georgia.
We must comply with the paperwork and all laws and regulations in every sale of a vehicle.

2. Classic Automobiles in the state of Georgia may not have a title.
1961 and older vehicles are not issued titles in the state of Georgia. 1985 and older vehicles may or may not have a title depending on how they have been registered by the previous owner. All states in the USA will comply with your new registration as this is a state law (most states will re-issue you a title).

3. We do everything we can to fully disclose the condition of every vehicle for sale.
We always take a minimum of 40 pictures and include close-ups of rust and imperfections. We also go the extra mile by filming a long walk-around video and test drive. Please look at all the pictures and watch the entire video. They will answer 99% of your questions. Then give us a call.

4. You must have called us on the phone to make a purchase.
Too many scammers are in cyberspace trying to make fraudulent purchases. The number one way to weed them out is for us to sell only to someone we have spoken to on the phone. Purchases can be completed via email and fax after we have spoken on the phone. We will not sell you a vehicle if you have not called first.

5. We do not recommend driving a classic car home.
Old cars are just that, old cars. You need to ship it home. Out on the road, many miles from home is not the place to get familiar with your old car. I tell people all the time “A $5 part can put you on the side of the road”. We can help you get a shipping quote and make arrangements for shipping any vehicle to your front door.

6. We do not sell fully restored cars.
99% of our cars are drivers and are not fully restored to show car or “trailer queen” standards. We specialize in driver restorations.

7. Mileage is Exempt.
Unless we have some documentation we always sell classic cars as mileage exempt. That means we do not know the original miles.

8. All Vehicles are sold AS IS – NO WARRANTY.
We do our very best to accurately describe every vehicle we sell. We take a lot of time testing what works, and what doesn’t. Unfortunately, old cars can have anything quit working at any time. We do not offer any type of warranty at all. We strongly recommend having an independent inspection done before making your purchase.

9. We do not overprice our vehicles.
Our classics are always priced to sell and have little to no wiggle room in the price. Please do not email me with “low-ball” offers. Call me with a reasonable one.

10. We do not offer financing.
Credit unions usually have the best rates for classic car financing. You can also search online for classic auto financing solutions. Financing checks must clear before your vehicle can be delivered.
